Alexander Payne

Alexander Payne is a Business Broker with Vaughn & Associates, where he helps owners sell their businesses and guides buyers through acquisitions. He brings an engineering and operations background that gives him a practical, analytical lens on how businesses run and where their value lies.

Before joining Vaughn & Associates, Alexander worked as a Fiber Engineer with 1st Edge Technologies in Jacksonville, Florida. He also spent a year with Bosch USA in North Charleston, South Carolina, completing internships in vehicle motion machining and logistics engineering, where he saw firsthand how large-scale manufacturing and supply chain operations are managed.

During his industrial senior design project, Alexander was part of a consulting team that analyzed a local company’s headquarters and warehouse operations, using real-time data to recommend efficiency improvements. That same approach carries into his work as a broker: understanding a business’s operations, identifying its strengths, and presenting it clearly to qualified buyers.
